I baked this cake when I had this funny craving for something sweet and fruity.....searched the web for an easy recipe with great outcome coz all the while when baking a fruit cake is an utter failure for me, alas!
But then when I follow my mother-in-law's recipe which request for steaming instead of baking, it DID turn out great, taste & appearance-wise. But I don't feel like eating the steam version, I want something which is with crust on the outside but soft & buttery on the inside....so that's why I searched hi & low for a 'proper' recipe. Aaaand, pop came out the cake from the oven piping hot & nice, just like how i wanted it to be...:)
btw, i can't remember where i got that recipe from but I've got to credit whoever have come out with such a great recipe...bravo!
and, this delicious cake is very delectable if consumed straight from the fridge, nyum, nyum nyum!
